Answer: Do not sign any forms. Do not speak to the Insurance Adjuster. The Insurance Company will try to settle your case on the cheap. Do not fall for that old trick.

Answer: Assuming the other driver is at fault, the insurance company will pay to fix your car in a timely manner. This usually takes about two weeks depending on how much damage there is to your car. The insurance company will also pay for a rental car for the time it takes to fix your car.
Question 3. How long will it take to get me money for my injuries?
Answer: Assuming the other driver is at fault, it depends on how long you have treat with the doctor for your injuries. Once you finish your medical treatment with the doctor we would try to settle your case for a fair and just amount of money. If we cannot settle your case we would then file a lawsuit in court to get you fair and just compensation for your injuries.
Question 4. How long will my lawsuit take in court?
Answer: In Connecticut it takes about 18 months to get a trial once the lawsuit is filed. However, approximately 98 percent of the cases settle prior to going to court for trial.
Question 5. How long do I have to file my lawsuit?
Answer: In Connecticut you have two years from the date of your auto accident to file a lawsuit. If you do not file your lawsuit within two years of the accident date you will not be able to file it.
