What a wonderful time of the year as the holidays approach and the weather gets colder.

So important to take some time to count your many blessings and celebrate all that life has to offer each and every one of us.

We started baking cakes and corn breads to practice making thanksgiving dinner as it is important to have cooking skills and be a bit self-sufficient especially with inflation and the food becoming more expensive.

I am a big advocate of homemade meals and self-sufficiency.

No matter what your situation is regarding the holidays.  Take time to celebrate with joys of living and the simple things in life and be grateful for them.
