It looks like the Biden Administration is seriously considering a proposal under the America First Act to raise the benefit amount for Supplemental Social Security Benefits or SSI and also raise the asset limit. Currently, SSI benefits are $794.00 a month and the asset limit is $2000.00. The increase is much needed to help are most vulnerable citizens. We wish the Biden Administration Godspeed.
