As a Lawyer part of the training in law school is legal research. Because a Lawyers tools in trade are cases, law books, treatises and statutes, Lawyers have an extra special skill at researching the law for our client's legal problems.
This skill transcends in other areas of life besides the law including research on marketing, business management and job hunting skills.
Today with the advent of the internet and computers local libraries can provide useful information to the public in an endeavor for people to resort to self help to improve themselves their station and quality of life.
Did you know that the libraries offer a collection of web resources that you can access 24/7 from your computer?
Some of the libraries offer testing and education reference centers that use study guides and the practice tests for the GED and many more.
The library may even have an A to Z database to go to the job information section to search for listings and resume templates.
As a Lawyer, I read many cases to keep abreast of changes in the law. As a consumer, I advocate getting to the library as any one can use the free wonderful resources to improve the quality of your mind, life and enjoy the great resources the library has to offer.
All you need is a library card!!!
