Last month a young  Stratford Connecticut man was killed when he was hit by a car while operating his motorized scooter in Bridgeport Connecticut.  Scooter accidents have now become a common place because many motorists driving cars do not see the scooter or are distracted.  Since the person operating the scooter has little or no protection the injuries from such a crash are severe and life changing even unfortunately resulting in death.  BE CAREFUL SCOOTER RIDERS.  Wear a helmet at the least.
